BioCeuticals Integrative Medicine Awards 2017

The BioCeuticals Integrative Medicine Awards (BIMAs) will recognise achievements and showcase innovation within the complementary and integrative medicine industry. The BIMAs will be held in conjunction with the 5th BioCeuticals Research Symposium.

The ceremony will take place on Saturday 22 April 2017 at Hilton Hotel Sydney. Tickets to the awards gala dinner are $95-$150 and are available to purchase here

Nominations will be reviewed by an external panel of leaders from the field of complementary and integrative medicine.

About the awards

Finalists 

The finalists will be notified by phone in March 2017 by the Administrator and the details of their nomination will be publicly released (including to the media) in May 2017.
To qualify as a finalist for an award, the nominee or a suitable representative must be available to attend the Awards presentation ceremony on Saturday 22 April 2017

Eligibility / Terms & Conditions

1. The nominee must be practising in the role they are being nominated for at the time of nomination
2. The nominee must provide the top three reasons why you feel this person deserves to received this award, with supporting evidence and referees if possible
3. All submissions must support the criteria.
4. Entrants who breach any of these conditions of entry or provide any false or materially incomplete information are subject to disqualification.
5. Nominees must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
6. There is no cost to enter the Awards.
7. Applicants who have received any financial or in-kind sponsorship or support from any corporation or organisation in relation to their entry must declare all details and any potential conflict of interest.
8. Entries must be submitted electronically.
9. The judging panel for the Awards will have complete discretion in assessing entries, applying the judging criteria, conditions of entry and determining the award.
10. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. The judging panel reserves the right not to allocate an award where, in its opinion, there is no entry of sufficient merit.
12. By entering the Awards, each entrant warrants that all information in its entry is true, accurate and complete Entrants may be requested to provide further evidence to substantiate their claims and, if so required, such evidence must be provided within the stipulated timeframe.
13. Winning an award does not signify endorsement of a particular product or a particular health and wellbeing practice/business by the Administrator.
14. Entrants authorise the Administrator to use the information contained in entries (other than confidential information) for any purpose it sees fit including (but not limited to) promotional, publicity and marketing purposes. No compensation or other payment will be payable to the finalists or winners for using the material submitted.
15. The Administrator and their staff and agents do not accept any liability, however arising (including liability for negligence) for any accident, loss, injury or damage arising at any time out of or in connection with the Awards except for any liability that cannot, by law, be excluded.
16. Entrants acknowledge that they may be required for presentations and media interviews during 2017 in respect of their entry and agree to take all reasonable steps to make themselves available for, and actively participate in, such presentations or media interviews.
17. By submitting an entry, entrants are taken to have acknowledged and accepted the terms and conditions and to have agreed to be bound by them.
18. The judging panel will consist of a diverse group of leading and influential professionals in their field of expertise. The judging panel will not receive any monetary funds and will undertake their role and responsibilities objectively and ethically.
19. Winners will receive a BioCeuticals ‘Golden’ Ticket, which includes complimentary entry into all BioCeuticals educational seminars from May 2017 - May 2018. The ticket includes the 6th BioCeuticals Research Symposium and national seminars only. Travel and accommodation costs are not included.
